Marcin Barburski is a full-time associate professor at the Lodz University of Technology, Faculty of Material Technologies and Textile Design at the Institute of Architecture of Textiles. His research interests include structural mechanics of textiles and composites, acoustic barriers, conveyor belts, modeling of textile structures and properties, technical textiles, technical embroidery, x-ray tomography, and analysis of internal geometry and mechanical properties of textiles and composites. Currently, he is the coordinator of the project “Sustainable Industrial Design of Textile Structures for Composites.” financed by the EU under the Horizon Europe program.
