
From January 22 to 24, 2025, Lodz University of Technology welcomed over 120 participants from 13 countries for InnovaTex2025, an international conference dedicated to the latest advancements in textiles and materials engineering. This year’s theme, “Beyond Textiles: Materials Engineering for the Modern Age,” set the stage for insightful discussions, groundbreaking research, and valuable industry connections.
The conference was officially opened by Professor Krzysztof Jóźwik, Rector of Lodz University of Technology, who emphasized the importance of innovation and collaboration in shaping the future of the textile and materials sectors. Additionally, SustDesignTex partners held a dedicated session to review project progress and plan future activities. Discussions centered on strategies for sustaining partnerships and collaboration beyond the project’s official duration.
