Staff exchange serves as a key mechanism for establishing a robust network among the consortium members of the SustDesignTex project. In the context of short-term staff exchange, five researchers from Lodz University of Technology—Prof. Marcin Barburski, Prof. Zbigniew Draczyński, Dr. Emil Saryusz-Wolski, Dr. Eng. Tsegaye Lemmi, and PhD candidate Agata Poniecka—embarked on their collaborative endeavors at ITA, RWTH Aachen University, Germany. The researcher will stay in Aachen for two months: January and February 2024.
Throughout their stay at ITA, these researchers will engage in diverse micro-projects centered around sustainable textile-reinforced composites for the aviation industry.
Upon their arrival at ITA, the TUL researchers were provided with a comprehensive introduction to the available facilities within ITA's laboratories. They established connections with ITA researchers who will be their collaborative partners during their stay and delved into discussions concerning the feasibility of implementing each micro-project proposal throughout their two-month stay in Aachen.
We extend our best wishes to the researchers for a highly productive and rewarding stay.
