On May 23, 2023, as part of the SustDesignTex project, a meeting took place aimed at exchanging best practices in university management. Presentations were given by Project Partners: Lena-Marie Jensen from the University of Boras, Jesús Cuartero from the University of Zaragoza, Christoph Greb from Aachen University, and Zbigniew Szamel from the Lodz University of Technology. The meeting was attended by University Authorities, represented by the Vice-Rector for Development, Prof. Dr. Eng. Paweł Strumiłło, as well as Deans and Vice-Deans of all faculties at the Lodz University of Technology, and Directors of Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, International Cooperation Center, and Projects Center.
The speakers shared their solutions for effective university management, acquiring funding for new projects, and establishing collaborations with the industries. In addition, the presentations encouraged participants to discuss better cooperation within the different units of the Lodz University of Technology and with external institutions.
This meeting was the first in a planned series of training sessions. In the coming months, workshops will be conducted for units at the Lodz University of Technology, including the Projects Center and Data Transfer Center. It will be a series of four online workshops, each led by a different Project Partner.
